Towards Accurate, Efficient  Applied Surrogate Models

The AIAA Applied Surrogate Modeling Group (AASM) is committed to advancing the development and deployment of practical surrogate models that serve as integral components of modern digital engineering frameworks. By uniting experts from industry, government, and academia, we focus on building applied, real-time-capable reduced-order, statistical, and AI/machine learning-based models grounded in high-fidelity simulations, wind-tunnel data, and flight test results.

Our mission is to define grand challenges, drive standardization, and accelerate the real-world application of surrogate modeling technologies across the aerospace lifecycle.
